Full colour label media

Full colour labels can be printed on either paper or vinyl, in any shape or size. Full colour, photo quality paper labels can be laminated with a clear film on top of the substrate to seal in the ink and protect the label from harmful UV rays and liquid spillage. Vinyl is a better choice for more demanding applications, particularly where the label must be waterproof. Vinyl comes in a variety of types suitable for a range of applications and is resistent to fading:

Standard vinyls (permanent and removable)

• Gloss white
• Matt white
• Clear

Coloured vinyls (permanent only)

• Silver
• Gold

Premium vinyls (permanent only)

• Crystal clear
• Bubble free
• Super sticky

Budget label media

Budget labels use a thermal transfer process to print up to 3 spot colours on paper, in a specific range of standard shapes and sizes (see colour chart below). This cost effective process is ideal for simple stencil-like images, barcodes and plain text on a coloured background where an exact colour match is not required.

Budget labels are only available on paper and cannot be laminated. The following colours are available for printing on budget labels:
